Sisters In Social Work, Inc. empowers Black mothers through advocacy, education, and support programs. We aim to create a world where Black mothers receive equitable healthcare, educational opportunities, and the support needed to thrive in their community.

Founded in April 2024, Sisters In Social Work, Inc. was established by two sisters who have master’s degrees in social work and a combined 22+ years in the social services field. The nonprofit was established in response to the unique challenges faced by Black mothers. We recognize that systemic inequalities in healthcare, education, and social support disproportionately affect Black mothers, leading to adverse outcomes for both mothers and their children. Our organization is committed to addressing these disparities and advocating for equity and justice policies.
