A supervision framework

Transformative Stewardship

A model of clinical supervision developed by Pearl Robinson, LCSW-S.

In Transformative Stewardship, the supervisor is the primary agent of transformation. The supervisee’s professional growth is an intended outcome of that transformation.

This is what distinguishes the framework from many traditional approaches to clinical supervision. The question is not only how supervisors can develop better clinicians. It is how supervisors must continually examine, challenge, and transform their own professional identities and practices in order to create environments that support supervisee development.

Supervision at Pinnacle of Purpose is grounded in this model. Clinical Supervision with Pearl is a small group for Licensed Master Social Workers in Texas working toward the LCSW.
